Imagine you are living abroad for a year what about would you miss abroad about Korea?

I often think about living abroad, because I want to study English in abroad. When I imagine I am living abroad for a year, I am always fearful staying with foreigners and not doing things together with my family, friends. And I also miss Korean food. Because I really love Korean traditional food, then when I went Vietnam, the food is not to my taste. I really want to go abroad but when I think like that, living abroad for a year is such a long time to me. I have alternative, that is getting close foreigners and acclimatizing abroad.

Dating in Korea

I think that dating in Korea depends on dating place. For example, when I date in Seoul, big place, I prefer unusual dating. For instance, go to Nam mountain tower, Insadong street or seek the famous restaurants. On the contrary, when I date in Janghowon, most dating is having a meal, drinking tea. You can say that it is very boring. My favorite dating place is 'cat cafe'. Before I go to cat cafe, I'm scared of cats. But after I visit cat cafe, I love cat ! If you go there, you can see a lot of cats, play and feed the cat. When we have a date with girl friends, shopping and chatter is best. I like shopping in Dongdaemoon ! There gather many clothing shop.

Is Korea a racist country?

I think that Korea is not racist country. Because, when Koreans see a video about the racist problem, they criticize severely. If some people are reluctant to socialize with black people, it should not be bad intention. I think that they may be scared talking with foreigners. But 'Korea is not racist country ' is not complete. Some people shun blacks maybe. In other cases, a Filipina 'Jasmine Lee' secured a return in this election. Many Koreans oppose that the foreigner obtain a seat in Parliament. It appeared as if Korea is racism. That could be so, but it is Lee's fault. Because she faked her level of education.

Koreans and the Internet

For Koreans, the Internet is a very important thing.

The internet facilitates connecting many thing!

I often use the Internet for messenger like Nate on.

And I have posted my daily life through Cyworld and Face book.

In addition, I enjoy searching article  about entertainment.

To me, the Internet shopping is very full of fun.

Because my hometown is Busan, so I live in dormitory.

Furthermore, to business man, the Internet can become vital tactic of company advertisement.

'The Internet is just web site!!' People can think like that.

But the Internet is not only web site but also our experience.

We can experience everything through the Internet.

What is the ugly side of Korean culture?

Most people think that giving consideration to older people is good manners,

especially greeting.

But sometimes, foreigners have difficulty greeting politely.

Additionally, Korean pursue beauty.

Then most Koreans undergo plastic surgery.

It has become part of Korean culture.

Next when I was young, I was told 'study hard' by my parents.

Korea has many private educational institutes.

Therefore Korean students go there.

It is also Korean culture's ugly side.

If I visit a person's home in Korea, what sould I do?

Firstly, foreigners have to take off their shoes.

Because Koreans always take off shoes in their home.

Secondly, if foreigners are invited to dinner,

the foreigners have to take things with two hands from adults.

And saying 'thanks for the meal' is good manners when dinner is finished.

If you do, I'm sure that the house owner will be very delighted.

Thirdly, stealing a look into house owner's room is be not particularly good.

Because it make them feel uncomfortable.



What advice would you give to a foreigner coming to Korea for the first time?

My answer is..

I recommend to foreigners to eat Korea food like bibimbab, bulgogi.

It is very valuable memory to foreigners.

Sometimes, some foreigners dislike Korea food's smell like kimchi, soybean paste.

But, these are very good for our health.

Second, i also recommend to foreigners to visit Insa-dong.

Insa-dong is a very traditional space.

Specially, there has so many signboard made from Hangul.

Hangul is a very beautiful language.
